The Buck Inn is a great pub for food and especially for our famous Buck Carvery. It is in a good location, just 5 minutes off Junction 47 of the M4 (Swansea West). Ideal for Coach Parties, Nursing Homes and Societies like Gardening Clubs or Senior Citizen Groups (20+) who require to stop and have a toilet break, a drink and a meal.

You will always be welcomed at the Buck by Ian and Claire Hart, who are the inspiration behind this historic 1860s Coaching Inn, on the A48 in Pontlliw, Swansea.

We feel overwhelmingly passionate about making a pub what it really should be. Great, simple home-cooked food, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Buck is a real country pub, with a roaring open fire and rambling rooms full of cosy nooks and crannies to enjoy real ale, fine wines and good old fashioned friendly hospitality for our customers to relax after a long trip.

The Buck offers a large car park for coaches to park up and coach drivers get a free carvery, dessert and soft drink.

For parties of 20+ we can offer a one course Carvery Meal of Beef, Pork & Turkey (a choice of all 3 meats) served with fresh vegetables and all the trimmings for or a choice of standard meals that need to be pre-ordered.  Breaded Plaice, Homemade Beef & Guinness Pie, Lasagne, Curry or Sausage with onion gravy, served with a choice of mash potato or homemade chips. A vegetarian option of Nut Roast and carvery vegetables and/or a Chef's Vegetarian Special is available.

For 2 course meals we can offer starters of Homemade Chef's Soup served with a roll and butter or a Ardennes/Brussels Pate with buttered toast or a desert of Homemade Apple Crumble served with custard or cream, or Homemade Trifle served with cream, or a Vanilla Ice Cream with sauce and wafer for £10.

We provide a large car park, with full disabled access and toilet facilities. We provide a baby changing unit and high chairs, and children are always welcome at the Buck.

For groups of 20+ we can provide a breakfast or afternoon tea for £5.00 per head - please ask for details.
